These terms and conditions are published by The Library House Limited of 4th floor Kett House, Station Road, Cambridge, CB12JX, a company registered in the UK with the following details: Co Reg No: 04364079 VAT Reg No: 797 4327 78 (henceforth 'Library House'). These terms and conditions were last updated on 12 March 2008 Library House may change, alter or withdraw any part of the Site at any time (with or without notice to you) and may also change these terms and conditions.
Unless stated otherwise, all text, graphics, illustrations, data and any other material published on the Site is copyright Library House 2008. All Site Content belongs to Library House or its licensors. Library House or its licensors own all intellectual property rights (including copyright and database rights) in the Site and any selection or arrangement of the Content.
The Site contains sponsorship and information from other companies. Sponsors and companies are responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on the Site complies with international and national law. Library House will not be responsible for any error or inaccuracy in advertising or sponsorship or company entered material.
Payment And Charges
In purchasing tickets to attend FutureFest you agree to pay any fees at the rates in effect when these charges are incurred. You must provide us with complete and accurate payment information.
Acceptance of each delegate is subject to space availability upon receipt of a completed Registration Form by FutureFest along with full payment for each delegate.
All payments payable to Library House shall be made in sterling and shall be inclusive of any Value Added Tax, where applicable. No delegate will be allowed to attend the conference unless full payment has been received and cleared.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received by 23 May 2009 will be valid for a refund of 50% of the paid amount per delegate. Cancellations received after this date will be non-refundable. All cancellations must be communicated to FutureFest in writing.
Delegate Substitution: Attendance at this event may be transferred to another individual within the same organisation at no extra charge. All delegate transfers must be communicated to and accepted by Library House in writing, please email info@futurefest.com. By submitting credit card payment details to FutureFest you warrant that you are entitled to purchase tickets using those payment details.
Anyone can register to receive information with FutureFest by providing their name, email address and country of residence.
Permitted Use
You may for your personal, non-commercial use retrieve and display Content on any compatible device, print a single copy of individual articles on paper (but not photocopy them) and store such articles in electronic form on disk or on a mobile device (but not on any server or other storage device connected to a network).
Non-Permitted Use
You may not use any Content for any unlawful purpose. Please respect the law. Do not post copyrighted material (unless you own the copyright) or attempt to engage in illegal behavior of any sort.
Privacy Policy and Registration
This statement details the collection and use of personal data by FutureFest.
The FutureFest Newsletter - The FutureFest online newsletter is an opt-in only publication. All subscriber data is stored in a highly secure facility and FutureFest does not share subscriber information with third parties.
When you sign up for the FutureFest Newsletter we collect and save your email address and newsletter format preference (text/html). FutureFest uses this information to send you a regular issue of the FutureFest Newsletter in your preferred format. If you wish to discontinue your subscription or to change your format preference, you can do so through the subscription box present on every copy of the newsletter.
If you receive the html-formatted version of the newsletter, your opening of the email containing the newsletter is notified to FutureFest and saved. Your clicks on links in the newsletter are also saved. These and the statistics generated are used in aggregate form to give us an indication of the popularity of the content and to help us make decisions about future content and formatting.
FutureFest Web Site – FutureFest has the facility to monitor and record connections to and from its web site. This monitoring data includes browser type, domain names, traffic volumes, temporal data, IP information, and data posted from web-forms. FutureFest reserves the right to analyse this information from time to time.
Information collected by FutureFest is stored in a secure and private manner, with measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under FutureFest’s control.
If you provide the Site with an email address that will result in any messages FutureFest may send you being sent to you via a network or device operated or owned by a third party (e.g. your employer) then you warrant that you are entitled to receive those messages. You also agree that FutureFest may refrain from sending messages to you without notifying you, even if you have subscribed to receive them, if FutureFest receives a request from a third party to stop sending messages to you.
