FutureFest - Exhibition of the Future

The Exhibition of the Future will be staged at The Guildhall and will be constructed around the core themes of Earth, Communication, Life and Machine. The exhibits will be celebratory and inquisitive and contextually relevant to the Festival themes - a taster and teaser of what's to come.
The Exhibition will be open to all from 09:00 to 12:30 and 14:30 to 18:00 on the Wednesday and Thursday June 24 – 25, 2009. The Conference conversational breaks and lunch across the two days will take place at the heart of the Exhibition and the space will be organised so as to facilitate networking both amongst Conference delegates and across the Courts and Lecture delegates.
FutureFest will culminate in a Grand Finale with an open session for everyone who participated in the Festival. All participants at the Lectures, The Courts and visitors to The Exhibition of the Future will be issued with tickets to the event during their visit.
The Grand Finale will take place at the Conference venue in the Corn Exchange between 17:30 and 18:30 and comprise an Awards presentation for FutureFest Prize Winners, a closing Keynote delivery from a well known speaker and a summary and close from FutureFest curator, Doug Richard.
