The Communication Theme

The Debating Chamber
The Communication Debate
June 25, 14:00 - 17:30, Cambridge Council Chambers
The Communication Debate will be led by a Chairman accompanied by expert
witnesses, for and against each of the topics for debate. The debates will
focus on the most contentious issues emerging from the theme and will look to
find a consensus resolution for the future within an interactive environment
where all attending can participate freely.
Presentations from some of the most exciting and disruptive companies in the
sector will serve to support either side of the debate. Each will be chosen
from the Library House 'MediaTech 100' which comprises a
rigorously selected group of private companies, deemed to represent the hottest
prospects for the future.
In the final session three shortlisted ‘Future Communication Prize' finalists will
compete for a cash prize of £20,000 plus access to serviced offices in a
corresponding Innovation Centre for a year. The Chamber will deliberate the
winner who will be announced on the conference stage at a FutureFest Grand
Finale at the end of the Festival.
